Our manufacturing facilities always follow a “design for reliability” approach. The processes are designed and qualified to produce products that comply to relevant international standards before the commencement of bulk production.

Telcordia Compliance

Opterna’s standard products are built to comply to Telcordia international standards that dictate the general installation requirements of the industry. Opterna facilities have in-house testing and calibration facilities like environment chambers and mechanical test set ups to certify to international standards. Besides, we also have tie-ups with third party lab facilities and expertise to perform tests.

Compliance to International Standards

Opterna also has the capability to built products that meet other international standards for its existing and new designs.

RoHS & WEEE Compliant

Opterna has planned well in advance towards making our products compliant to these two directives. With regard to the RoHS directive (2002/95/EC), the restricted substances are:

• Lead
• Mercury
• Cadmium
• Hexavalent chromium
• Polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs)
• Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs)

The maximum permitted levels are expected to be 0.01% by weight for cadmium and 0.1% by weight for the others.
