Main strength of Magnetics Division is mass as well as low volume high mix production. It has 20,000 sq. ft. with state-of-the-art equipment and excellent lab facilities. Magnetics team has a pool of highly skilled technicians and engineers. It has a very competent design team capable of designing power supply units and individual magnetic components to stringent quality and safety standards. The magnetics infrastructure also uses appropriate software tools for concept drawings. Also, systematic procedures such as proof of concept through DOE (design of engineering), design FMEA and statistical tools are followed in design activities. The facility offers quick sample turnaround times. It has safety agencies approvals like UL, CSA, VDE, CE and C-tick. The process and products of this division has undergone several audits of UL and CSA agencies and has the history of successfully passing them without a single non-conformance.
The products of this facility include transformers, adapters, power supply chargers, inductors, chokes, relays and similar magnetic components and sub-assemblies.
The products from this division have found applications in telecom and networking, medical equipment, power distribution, home appliances, IT devices, military and space applications. |
